I’m trying to prove a point to a douche in my class who thinks girls are lying about enjoying marvel.
I don’t know how anyone with a pulse could not like Marvel movies, regardless of gender. (I’m very excited about Thor: The Dark World opening in the US this week, can you tell?)
I’ve been wanting to make these for ages now.
Have some Clark Gregg in uniform from “We Were Soldiers” | 2002 (minus final scene because of reasons)
I do love a man in uniform…

New Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Video
Eagle eye viewers watching Marvel’s San Diego Comic Con LiveStream were treated to a brand new Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. preview video. While some of the clips are one’s we’ve seen already, mixed in are new short interviews from Clark Gregg and Joss Whedon as well as a few new behind… … Read More
More teasing… excitement building… WHY ISN’T IT FALL YET?!!!
Had a completely lousy day at work, but when I arrived home I found my very own Hot Toys Agent Phil Coulson waiting for me! (Thank god my housemate was there to sign for him, or I’d be doing the Dance of Delivery with UPS for days!) Immediately liberated him from the box and played with him for a bit, brightened my mood considerably.
Everything’s better with a little Coulson :’)
Apparently comic book movies have had no influence on comic book sales? Speaking as somebody who fully acknowledges she’s only buying comics again because of the movies, I’m not certain I believe this.
So… let’s have a ‘scientific study’ :)
Please RE-BLOG if you buy comics and at least part of the reason you’re reading/buying them has to do with the recent crop of comic book related films.
I’m buying and reading comics again due solely to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I really loved Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America, but ultimately it was The Avengers, Joss Whedon, a dream ensemble, and Agent Coulson that got me back into comics. (Sorry, Dr. Banner, I didn’t watch The Incredible Hulk until after The Avengers, but I’d totally watch a Mark Ruffalo Hulk movie now!)
So anyway, yeah, Marvel’s getting fifty bucks a month from me that they wouldn’t be getting if not for the MCU. And I can still hardly believe that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is going to be a real thing and not just a fangirl dream :’)

OMG, I want a tiny cuttlefish! For they are the world’s cutest cephalopods, and they’re smart, too :’)
This man’s face.
Also, I love how how incredibly cute and petite he looks without his lifts here too.
Seeing this shot made me wish Guy Ritchie would cast RDJ as Napoleon Solo in his “Man from U.N.C.L.E.” movie. He’d be absolutely perfect, a much better fit for the character than Henry Cavill (though Cavill is a vast improvement over the previously-attached Tom Cruise)
